Our beginnings
The Body Shop entrepreneur Anita Rodick established Soapworks in 1988 as a specialist soap manufacturer.
Anita had a profound belief in providing employment and opportunity to local communities, helping them to thrive in an otherwise challenging landscape. Her work in helping to protect the environment through producing eco-conscious personal care was groundbreaking.
Our development
This approach to enterprise and sustainability continues to lie at the core of our business, strengthened by the ownership of our parent company Daabon.
