Supporting vulnerable communities

In 2002, we launched our ‘Soap Aid’ initiative – in partnership with Glasgow the Caring City – to provide bar soap to vulnerable communities within Glasgow, throughout the UK and overseas.

Life-saving hand hygiene

We’re proud to provide essential access to basic hygiene for those most in need.

The crucial role hand-hygiene plays in fighting and preventing the spread of disease has been brought into sharp focus. This has been especially important with the emergence of viral epidemics affecting lives on a global scale.

Local and global support

Local distribution is achieved through food banks, homeless shelters and hospitals. Further afield our ‘Soap Aid’ reaches communities across the UK as well as Greece, Serbia, Venezuela and Colombia.

Our donations have helped countries affected by international emergencies such as disease and natural disasters, as well as vulnerable communities who suffer due to conflict or acute deprivation.
